Does it cost anything to search or save studios?

No. Searching, filtering, saving studios, reading reviews and sending enquiries are all free for artists, and always have been. There is nothing to buy before you can use the directory properly.

What does the verified badge actually mean?

That the studio submitted documentation — identity or business paperwork — and an administrator reviewed it against the listing. It is not self-awarded, which is why you can filter on it.

Can I find studios open late or overnight?

Yes. Filter for open 24 hours, or set a specific day and time and see only the studios open then. Plenty of records get made at 1am and the finder assumes that.

Why do some studios show a booking panel and others do not?

Because the owner chooses. Studios that have set up rooms and rates can take booking requests on the page; the rest take an enquiry instead. You can filter to only the ones that book online.
