Legacy Recording Studios
For studio owners

Get recording studio clients while building a legacy

Building a recording studio is only half the battle. Legacy puts your rooms in front of the artists already searching your city, and gives you the tools to turn that attention into booked sessions — enquiries, bookings, reviews and the numbers behind them, in one place.

The problem

You built a room. Getting artists to find it is a different job entirely.

Owning and running a studio is hard enough. Then you discover that being good is not the same as being findable, and that the two skills are unrelated — there are studios in every city in America with better rooms than the ones getting booked.

Legacy exists to close that gap. Not with a row in a database, but with pages built to rank, a front door artists can actually walk through, and the tools to handle what comes through it.

Questions studio owners ask first

How much does it cost to list my recording studio?
Nothing. A free listing gets you the studio page, your city and state archive placement, the structured data, enquiries, reviews, bookings and analytics. You can keep it free forever — Pro is optional and adds a handful of specific things rather than unlocking the basics.
My studio is already listed and I did not put it there. What now?
Claim it. Legacy has catalogued studios for years, so plenty of listings pre-date their owner joining. Claiming transfers the page to your account once an administrator has reviewed your evidence.
Do you take a commission on bookings?
No. Legacy does not process payments and takes no cut of your session fees — Advanced booking is included in a flat Pro subscription however much you book. Requests come to you with everything the artist selected, and you handle it from there.
Is the booking engine actually built for studios?
Yes — it is the reason most owners upgrade. Ten real studio room types, day rates applied as caps, add-ons priced per hour or per person, and on Pro the things generic schedulers cannot do at all: after-hours lockout pricing that wraps midnight, weekend surcharges, deposits and turnaround buffers between sessions.
Do I need my own website as well?
No. Many studios use their Legacy page as their entire web presence — it carries your rooms, rates, gear, hours, photos, reviews and a booking panel. If you do have a site, the two work together.
How long does it take to get listed?
A few minutes to create the listing. It is live and in the XML sitemap as soon as you publish it.

Still deciding? Every feature has its own page with the detail behind it.
